Plexus Wheel Sport for Muscle & Back Pain Relief
The Plexus Wheel Sport digs deep. And that's probably what you're going to have to do too to sustain the initial discomfort you'll feel pressing on and rolling along these easers of the back pain, and relaxers of the muscle tension.
Sold here as a set of 3, Gentle (12"), Medium (10"), and Deep Tissue (6") wheels, the Plexus Wheel Sport pack is designed to replace your foam roller as a the go-to tool for working out knots, tension, and pain in your legs, glutes, and back. Made with just 1/4" of padding, the wheels are firm and focused for concentrated penetration, but will still ease new users and particularly "hot" areas into the rolling game with the different size / intensity options.
The latter also facilitate a better bodily fit. Each Plexus Wheel is 5" wide so it can fit between your shoulder blades, and access all the nooks and cricks along your spine without sacrificing spinal alignment. Compared to foam rollers, you should be able to target specific and smaller areas of your back instead of just "steam rolling" the entire thing.
I myself use a nubby RumbleRoller or lacrosse ball to accomplish similar tasks, though I admit the roller is a little awkward to navigate around my back, and the lacrosse ball is usually way too much with full body weight bearing down on such a small, hard area. I end up having to lean up against it on a wall, and then contort the rest of my body into weird positions to move it around and get the exact pressure I want.
