I think Cactus Coasters would make the perfect present for a woman who's: A) your boss or B) your girlfriend of 2 months of less. They're cute, creative, and clever--all the Cs of a thoughtful lady-gift--but not so personal that giving them makes things awkward. Like, your boss probably won't think she can expect a proposal by Valentine's day, and your girlfriend probably won't figure out you have explicit sexual fantasies about her approximately once every 5 minutes. No...wait...flip those two around. (Or maybe they're interchangeable for you....)

Designed by Clive Roddy, Cactus Coasters build and interlock on a terra cotta pot base when not in use to create various designs of cacti. The 6 discs included in the set are each slightly different in size to, uh, accommodate a variety of different cups, but no two of the same cup? I don't really get that part. Coasters are water-resistant and made from engineered wood.
