Memories of the most beautiful, challenging, momentous trail you've ever traveled become a custom, 3D work of art, courtesy of Topo Trail Maps. Out of his studio in Oregon, Trevor Crosta handmakes every Topo Trail Map using a combination of CNC and laser equipment, and traditional woodworking tools. Customers choose the specific area and trail they want highlighted on the map, as well as the style of artwork Crosta turns them into.
Topo Trail Map styles include National Forest and National Parks Frames, each inspired by their respective official signs, as well as large format carved maps in frames ranging from 20" x 24" to 36" x 48". Frames are available in walnut, black, or natural colors, each with identifying information about the location, trail, and when you hiked it.
Once Crosta has carved away the solid wood to form the base of your topographic map, he laser etches your chosen trail into it. Trails can be of any kind - hiking, biking, race routes, ski or surf areas, lakes and rivers, or even a path around your property.
