While great for your joints I'm not so sure how good the Swim Desk is going to be for your computer and mobile phone. Definitely recommend keeping a vat of rice on hand while work-stroking at it. And also maybe an EMT since I doubt you'll make it a week without getting electrocuted. But! At least you won't die of a heart attack from too much sitting, suffer spinal compression and enlarged veins from standing up, or F up your joints and aggravate your arthritis from walking and running at a treadmill desk.

Swimming is the ultimate low-impact, high-yield alternative for people who want to stay active and get some cardio, and adding a swimming pool to the workplace is an ingenious way to ensure those people can squeeze a workout in at least 5 days a week. Can't get up early enough to go to the gym before work? Too exhausted to go after? No problem--and no more excuses--with the Swim Desk.

A ThinkGeek exclusive, the Swim Desk is built with a (quiet) 5hp motor that controls a current adjustable from Gentle Flow to Swift Torrent. A 4kW electric heater allows you to set the water temperature to your liking too. For late nights, a series of underwater LEDs provide complete workspace lighting. No jets though, so forget about converting your desk into an after-hours hot tub party with the interns.

Typical office attire will obviously be an issue with the Swim Desk, but maybe ThinkGeek will work out a partnership with Quicksilver Japan to sell their True Suits, business suit wetsuits, alongside the Swim Desk.
