Check It Out

It's the 21st century. Who buys a flashlight whose only capability is to shed light anymore? When I'm looking for my 1:12 scale Voltron in the attic, hunting zombies in the Ozarks, or self-examining my throat for the white mass of strep nodes that mean I'll be spitting in a cup instead of swallowing for the next three days, I want to do it with 4100 lumens of raw power that will probably also light my intended target on fire. Wicked Lasers' Torch, the Most Powerful Flashlight in the World, promises to oblige.

Wicked Lasers enjoys a grand tradition of fabricating Most Powerfuls and instruments that burn, baby, burn. Their S3 Arctic Laser emits a searing 1W blue beam that will pretty much blind all retinal recipients in its path instantly. And like any good torch from Game of Thrones or the Indiana Jones series, the Wicked Lasers Torch burns hot enough to set paper aflame, thus overtaking matches as best campfire starter ever. Even better, for those who don't even want to bother with the fire, the Torch's glow will roast marshmallows and cook eggs all by itself. Which would be a legitimate perk when camping in excessively rainy or windy conditions, or areas with burn bans in effect. And just a spectacularly rad perk at all other times.

Wicked Lasers fits its Torches with 100-watt halogen bulbs covered in durable, high-heat rated lenses to preclude self-destruction. Flashlight casing is constructed from military-grade aluminum, which houses a NI-MH 12x2/3A 1500mAh 14.4V rechargeable battery, specifically designed for the Torch. (One battery and charger are included with purchase, with extras available for $34.95 and $24.95 respectively.) Torch measurements are 2.2" in diameter x 9.1" long, and weight is 1.2 pounds.
