Filorosso Reclaimed Fire Hose Belts
Filorosso isn't the first brand to repurpose used fire hoses for EDC and hipster purposes - Recycled Firefighter, for one, has been doing it for almost 10 years now. But Filorosso's Reclaimed Fire Hose Belts stand out from others I've seen because, well, nothing about these belts looks reclaimed, reused, recycled, or upcycled. They all look sparkly and new, and most excellent holding up the pants of firefighters, firefighter supporters, and of course, the aforementioned hipsters, everywhere.
Filorosso must have some 10/10 stain removers and degreasing solutions on hand. Probably courtesy of one of their Italian American mamas whose secret cleaning recipes have been passed down through the generations.
All Filorosso designs are unique, and one-off runs, based on the retired materials - in this case, fire hoses - they've acquired. The company previously created belts and accessories from leftover dead stock denim used in face masks. The Reclaimed Fire Hose Belts come in 4 styles, two plain, and two printed with their original IAFF specifications. There is also a 1776 Stripes Box Set, containing 3 belts in red, white, and blue.
