While some feel pooing gold provides the rectal rush of a lifetime, others find its one-and-done nature too fleeting. It's in, 4 hours to 3 days later it's out, and then it's over. For those in this latter group of precious metal poo fans, those who want their glittering excrement around for the long term, perhaps you'd prefer wearing golden poo to defecating it. I'll even throw in something to sweeten the poo pot: this golden poo is also lucky.

Animated short filmmaker Joaquin Baldwin takes a foray into Deuceland here with his 3D-printed Lucky Golden Poo. Though they may seem to stem from nothing but Baldwin's own toilet humor, golden turd charms are actually a popular fad and supposed bearer of good fortune in Japan. Known there as Gold Unchi or Kin no Unko, the tradition emerged from a play on words. In Japanese the term unko means poop, but it also contains the sound oon, which means luck. Lucky poop. Ba-da-bing!.

As for coating the turd in gold, I guess that's just to class it up a bit and communicate that poop bearers are not only lucky, but also a connoisseurs of the finer things in life.

Lucky Golden Poos are available in polished 24K gold-plated stainless steel, polished brass, or 22K gold-plated brass. In addition to the single pocket charm, Baldwin also sells LGP earrings, pendants, and cufflinks.
