Nest Brush Self-Dispensing UV-C Toothbrush
The Nest Brush is not some newfangled self-dispensing electric toothbrush with a UV-C sterilizing stand. It's a newfangled self-dispensing manual toothbrush with a UV-C sterilizing stand. And the UV-C stand is optional, so really it's a low-tech, battery-free dental nod to the teeth brushing days of yore, kind of like the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G flip phone.
Fill the Nest Brush's 30mL silicone handle with your favorite toothpaste, and simply press a tactile button beneath the head to manually spurt a dollop of cavity- and tartar-fighting goo into the brush's bristles. Presuming it works, and the toothpaste doesn't dry out in the Nest chamber, this feature alone would be enough for me to give it a try. No more crusty toothpaste caps and spouts, no more accidental overdoses during dispensing, and no more dropped tops lost forever to the depths of the bathroom when I stumble in at 3 a.m., too drunk to be coordinated, but not so drunk that I neglect my oral hygiene before passing out in bed.
Those who want a little more from their Nest Brush can also get the toothbrush's holder and travel case. Both are removable modules fitted with UV-C LED lights that automatically turn on when you place the toothbrush inside them. Once activated, they sterilize your Nest Brush, killing bacteria and other germs, in about a minute. The UV-C modules do use rechargeable batteries, which last about 2 months per charge.
