See, sometimes you can have too much of a good thing, but other times...you should turn every possible 21st century EDC item into a flux capacitor. That's ThinkGeek's current modus operandi. Hot on the heels of their Flux Capacitor USB Car Charger is this sweeeeet Flux Capacitor Wristwatch.

The watch's design is self-explanatory: stainless steel case and band, tubular Geissler-esque Y, and pulsing white lights. And functionally, while this flux capacitor won't take you back in time, it will tell you the present time. All you have to do is start running and, once you've achieved a speed of 8 mph (come on, you're human, not DeLorean), press the watch's bottom button and...whoosh!...start counting. Yeah...flux capacitor time telling is almost as complicated as flux capacitor time travel. Though the running part is technically optional the watch really does spit out its time in flashing lights. After you press the button it flashes lights first for the number of hours, then the first digit of minutes, and finally the second digit of minutes. So: 10 lights, 5 lights, 3 lights is 10:53.

The watch's time circuit LCD display also shows the date along with the time, and has a mysterious middle button that activates Time Travel Mode to flux the FC and display a random date in the time circuit.

The Flux Capacitor Watch is a top Dude Gift for a Geek pick.
