Sarthe is first a region/river in France and second a semi-permanent race course most famous for its role in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and third a word that sounds like it belongs in the Star Wars narrative. So Dutch brand Vencer's supercar, the Sarthe MY2015, has a fair bit going for it even before we find out its engineering thumbs its nose at the current trends of hybrid tech and electronic driver interfaces in favor of 80s aesthetics and analog functionality. In addition to the raw power and agility it exhibits when put to the test, the Vencer Sarthe aims to be an everyday driver's car for the kinds of drivers who admire "purity, rarity, and mechanical feel."

Inspired by the 24 Hours of Le Mans cars racing the Circuit de la Sarthe in the 1980s, the Vencer Sarthe is tailor-made with a minimalist design and carbon fiber lightweight construction to give it a "neo-retro" feel that incorporates modern day performance advancements. Vencer welcomes anyone with the cash and gumption to push its 622 BHP supercar to top speeds of 210 mph and 0 to 60 in 3.6 seconds.
