Though 2018 brought the death of Stephen Hawking, it also brought us a terrific opportunity to reflect on what an exceptional man he was. In his final act, his final contribution to humankind, Hawking discusses his thoughts on whether or not humanity will survive, if we should colonize space, and if God exists. To get things started. Brief Answers to the Big Questions also features a foreword from actor Eddie Redmayne, the Oscar winner who played Hawking in The Theory of Everything, an introduction by Nobel Laureate Kip Thorne, and an afterword from Hawking's daughter, Lucy.
