Got an Ankering for everlasting coolness? To be clear, it's for your food and drinks in Anker's EverFrost Powered Cooler, not your body that runs perpetually hot, or your geeky image.
Instead of ice, the EverFrost uses a detachable 299Wh battery that cools its contents fast, and keeps them frigid or frozen for over 24 hours. And if you're off-grid when the battery runs low, use the cooler's 100W solar input to recharge and see if Anker's claim of everlasting coolness is legit.
The EverFrost Cooler will come in 33L, 43L, and 53L capacities. Cooling capabilities vary based on size, with the smallest able to hold a 39 degree F temperature for up to 42 hours, and the largest up to 27 hours on a single charge. The chamber's temperature is also adjustable from -4 to 68 degrees F using either a touchscreen LED display on the front of the cooler, or Anker's EverFrost app. The 53L version has a split interior for dual zones for simultaneous refrigeration and freezing.
In addition to solar recharging, the EverFrost battery accepts juice from a wall outlet or car socket, both of which plug directly into the cooler. During cooling it runs under 42dB, and takes only around 30 minutes to cool food and drinks from 77 to 32 degrees F.
The EverFrost cooler has Anker's trademarked EasyTow ergonomic design, which includes 6" wheels and a retractable handle suitable for any type of terrain. The handle also converts into a tray table.
Anker is running their EverFrost Powered Cooler as a Kickstarter campaign through May 7, 2023. Discounts on all sizes and packages are available to backers.
