LAVA ME 2 Carbon Fiber Guitar with Effects
While I can't play a guitar, and know nothing about guitar builds and quality, I do LAVA ME some carbon fiber, and LAVA's LAVA ME 2 unibody guitar is made with Super AirSonic carbon fiber material. And not only to make it look cool.
As with many carbon fiber applications, the LAVA ME 2's Super AirSonic fibers make the guitar ultralight, just 3.7 pounds. Combined with its one-piece injection molded technology, LAVA says the LAVA ME 2 is more comfortable to hold and play than a traditional guitar, but sacrifices none of the acoustics.
The LAVA ME 2 also comes equipped with effects, controlled by FreeBoost Technology on the L2 pickups rather than electricity. That means instead of plugging in to an amp, you can reverb, delay, and chorus using the rear surface of the LAVA ME 2 as a speaker. This version 2 of the LAVA ME now also has a Percussion Effect that can enhance sound with or without plugging in.
Another benefit of the Super AirSonic carbon fiber its weather resistance - you can play in temperatures between -4 and 176 degrees F, with humidity levels of 10% to 90%. So no one can ever tell you it's too cold / hot / dry / muggy to bust out some "Me & Julio Down By the Schoolyard" around the campfire every again! Muahahahaha!
The carbon fiber composition and hyped engineering make the LAVA ME 2 a little pricey, especially if you're considering it as a gift for a teen who's just learning, but if you need a gift for a musician proper, the multi-colored line could be just what the doctor rocker ordered.
