I have nothing snide to say about the speaker pillow. It's an outstanding idea. I can't even count how many times I have fallen asleep with earbuds in and woken up with one side implanted so deep in my aural canal I crowned the first person able to pull it out (my friend Cornelius) King of England. Yes, you have read that same vivid written description before. Right here, in fact, during my discussion of the Nanotech Storm Suit and tale of a flight I took to DC. And, admittedly, I didn't even make the analogy up myself, nor have I applied it to its highest and best use as did the anonymous person from whom I stole it. My introduction to the King Arthur/Excalibur comparison comes from one of the all-time best entries on OverheardInNewYork.com:

First Guy (gesturing toward hot girl): I'd hit that.
Second Guy: Man, I'd hit that so hard whoever could pull me out would become King of England.

Comedic perfection, that line.

But back to the pillow. It's an Ellery Sound Asleep Comfort model with a built-in speaker and connector that can accommodate just about any audio source, including iPods, mp3 players, smart phones, even radios and TVs. No headphones required, just your little head resting against its cooing little bosom. Pillow cover is 100% cotton, and fill polyester fiber. Batteries are not needed and, therefore, not included.
