The Junior Devastator is an 80-shot rubber band gatling gun that "sprays rubber bands like a hose sprays water." Two points on that. 1) I wonder what Daddy Devastator looks like. 2) The JD is the third, and probably the most visually and functionally impressive, rubber band gun we've shown you. However its predecessors, the Bandit multi-action rubber band shotgun and the Rubber Band Machine Gun, each cost between $940 and $975 less than the Devastator. Granted, the two former are sold as DIY assembly kits, but I have to question what elevates this automatic firer of an age-old office supply to such levels of pecuniary grandeur.
Here are few more of maker Magnum 12's Junior Devastator specs--you be the judge:
- The 3' long x 2' high gun is handcrafted in the USA by skilled wood workers. It is made from solid poplar hardwood and exclusive company-owned plastic fittings.
- Junior's devastation can reach balloon settlements, photos of co-workers' fugly children, and backs of heads positioned up to 40 feet away.
- It sits on a tripod based that facilitates up-down articulation and left-right swiveling for shooting the enemy in all directions. That said, usage of the gatling gun is not intended for children under the age of 14, and the Junior D should never be enlisted for horseplay. Only punishment and revenge.
- The gun arrives fully assembled in a custom box, and includes 1 bag of approximately 300 non-lethal Magnum blue rubber bands, which stretch to 19" when loaded. See, non-lethal. So again, not for F'ing around since maiming and shooting an eye out are still possibilities, but terrific for punishment and revenge.
