Nebia trademarked what they call H2MICRO technology. They say it takes the best parts of a shower and a steam room and sprays it out of overhead and portable wand nozzles in a way that will make you feel like you're in neither a shower nor a steam room, but like, say, a lovestruck, googly-eyed Poseidon or Storm is blowing you kisses. I mean, that's my interpretation anyway.
The Nebia shower system doesn't just suck up and spurt out water, it atomizes it. (Again, a power attributable only to a god or one of the X-Men.) The H2MICRO tech breaks down flowing streams under extreme pressure, dissecting them into millions of tiny droplets whose surface area is 10 times that of a normal shower water droplet. The result: more water hits more areas of your skin, enhancing the feeling of cleanliness and hydration, and sending you off invigorated and revitalized in addition to wet.
On top of elevating the showering experience, Nebia says its incorporation of showerhead design and thermofluid advancements will also save you thousands of gallons of water a year. Administering its water as a deluge of microscopic droplets, the showerhead is able to make users feel so misty clean using 70% less water than a typical household installation. For the average U.S. home, Nebia's payback period should be less than two years.
If you want to give Nebia a go, or rather, let it give you a go, pledge for one of the showerheads via its Kickstarter campaign through September 10, 2015.
