The Banana Leaf Silicone Lid is a Charles Viancin design, one of several in his line of brightly colored, plant-themed covers for bowls, pans, and casserole dishes. The Food-grade, BPA-free Banana Leaf is made to create an airtight seal on any surface with a smooth rim. It's also rated for extreme temperatures, -40 to 428 degrees F, so you can use it to cook dinner on the stovetop or oven, store the leftovers in the fridge or freezer, and then reheat them in the microwave.
The Banana Leaf Silicone Lid is obviously reusable, and also dishwasher-safe, so it can easily replace disposable plastic wrap and foil. Seems easier to clean and keep from smelling than that beeswax wrap too. Banana Leaf Lids come in 10" x 10" and 10" x 14" sizes.
