hOmeLabs Chill Pill Countertop Ice Maker
There are so many countertop ice makers out there right now. I've even written about 3 of them, the Opal Nugget Ice Maker being the most memorable. Until now. hOmeLabs did themselves a great service in cube design and wordplay naming their countertop ice maker the Chill Pill Countertop Ice Maker. The kids are gonna love it! ... On second thought, do the kids still talk about chill pills? Taking a chill pill, you needing a major chill pill? Probably not, huh? Then scratch that. The Chill Pill Countertop Ice Maker: Dad's gonna love it!
hOmeLabs says the ice their Chill Pill spits out is literally shaped like pills, and though I think they look more like gumdrops, I see a rounded end and some general oblong-ness, so I'm not going to call total BS. Hopefully when hOmeLabs continues that their pill-shaped ice cubes are also chewable pills, they're not fudging the truth to fit their marketing scheme there too.
The Chill Pill Ice Maker takes up a 9.5" x 12.9" x 14" footprint on your countertop, and has a 2.2-liter water reservoir that can hold up to 1.5 pounds of ice at a time.
