The tagline for the Barebones Miners Lantern should be: "The perfect gift for Happy, Sleepy, Grumpy, Sneezy, and all your favorite dwarfs!" This little light is really, truly a very little light. As a braggin' point, it appears, as Barebones shows the lantern's 4" tall x 2.5" wide stature next to a smartphone for comparison.
I myself would prefer the Miners Lantern to be more man- than dwarf-sized, mostly so I could better admire its vintage-inspired matte brass body, and copper and aluminum accents. The pure brass will even tarnish and age over time, and if you use it near your campfire or hibachi grill, you might get some ash and coal dust on it to enhance the character further.
Decidedly different in Barebones' 2020s edition of the Miners Lantern are its power sources. Rather than gas and flame, this lantern has a dimmable 2W LED bulb and removable, rechargeable LI-ION battery. It also has both a top handle and a magnetic base for different attachment options.
