Bushnell Digital Night Vision Monocular
Well I know I like that square beam HD flashlight Bushnell makes so I have similarly high hopes for their Equinox Z, a digital night vision monocular with 6x magnification. The after-dark locating and sightseeing device has built-in photo and video recording capabilities, plus a 50mm multi-coated glass objective lens and an infrared illuminator with multiple settings. These perks facilitate edge-to-edge resolution and produce images so clear that had I owned Bushnell's monocular in college, I could have proven to my friend Cornelius that I really did stumble upon some sort of naked sorority pledge initiation ceremony in the woods that one night.
The Equinox Z also introduces a monocular zoom feature, allowing viewers to see up to 3 times farther than standard night vision devices. A video output port connects to video or computer equipment for recording or "live" monitoring, and an attached accessory mounting rail enables the seamless addition of a more powerful IR illuminator where necessary.
Bushnell recommends using the nighttime magnifier to enhance a variety of activities, including hunting, camping, fishing, caving, paintball, stargazing, and voyeurism.
