Ressence Type 1 Slim HOD Watch for HODINKEE

The Ressence Type 1 Slim HOD Limited Edition for HODINKEE boats - I mean, really boasts, just look at that peacock of a watch - a 42mm case made of Grade 5 titanium that will protrude just 11mm from your wrist. Ressence has also carved the watch's skeletonized design with even more open spaces and perceptible layers than any previous release, making it even more minimalist in wear, if not in appearance.
The Type 1 Slim HOD does replicate some Ressence trademarks exactly, such as the ROCS - the Ressence Orbital Convex system. This is Ressence's unique orbital system for time display, which recruits an array of satellite gears to move the dials that tell you the hours, minutes, seconds, etc. around a rotating main dial. The limited edition for HODINKEE also has a nifty Super-LumiNova feature that joins forces with the ROCS and the watch's skeletonized design to produce a stunning blue-green glow of passing time at night or in the dark.
